I've heard a bit of Banjou Ginga's Giran so far obviously, but this is the episode where I'll give it my final decision on if I prefer him over Andrew Chandler's take obviously.

I'd forgotten all about the ploy of a storm to pad out this episode a bit. It's gotta be filler, but it's nice to see a different weather pattern in this show at least once.

I know it's just a repeated music track, but why is the guy at the piano playing the same tune as the western bar where we first met Lunch? It just doesn't fit.

Okay, maybe it fits a bit with Giran's new 'Gunslinger' get-up that I still don't quite get, but still.

I can't make a decision between Banjou Ginga or Andrew Chandler, I feel they both did really good with the character. Both make him sound monstrous, and both make him sound like a real jerk. I think they did a really good job casting Chandler for the dub.

I'm actually more on Giran's side, Goku's use of the Kinto'un really should be against the rules, whereas Giran's flight was natural and the gum is a technique.

Giran's such a coward for being such a strong guy, it stinks. I would have liked to see how long he could stand up to Goku with his tail returned.
