I don't know for sure, but I'm assuming that some of this stuff with Yamucha and the others, as well as some of the hinting first appearances of Kuririn are filler technically right? They feel like it, but the good kind.

Ahh yes, those screams, those awesome screams...he hasn't officially been introduced just yet, but I hear Mayumi Tanaka!

I'm not certain, but I think for part of the dub on Goku's flight to Roshi's, the narrator is yapping over it like he's prone to do for some reason. It's much nicer without it. I would check to see if my memory was right, but I'm refusing to switch to the dub audio at any point during my sub watchings, so I can focus on JUST this version. As far as I'm concerned for these reviews, as far as my watchin goes, there is no dub.

Another quick scene of Tanaka's Kuririn, and for some reason with the Kid age voice, I can tell it's Luffy a lot more than I can with the other Kuririn bits I've heard in Z. Then again, I'd imagine she changed her voice a bit near the end just like Nozawa did.

...Did Goku really just do an 'ohohoho!' laugh? Man this is chock full of more Slump references than I ever noticed in the dub.

'It's a guy with no winkie and lots of spunk, right?' ... XD I love you Goku.

Muten Roshi is prone to hilarious singing at the drop of a hat it seems.

I've hit another case where the dub tried to make something less bad, even in the uncut dub. I remember Master Roshi wanting to take the mermaid girl (before he knew) on a walk around his island. Muten Roshi on the other hand wants her panties. Why he thought she'd be willing to give them to Goku though is beyond me...

It's funny how often Goku says 'there's a funny guy' or something of the like when he's the oddest guy there is in this show, personality wise.

And Kururin has finally made his debut for real! Luckily, he talks an awful lot for coming into the tail end of an episode, so I can safely comment a bit on his voice. And like I said, I've already heard some of Tanaka's work, though it was on adult Kuririn in Z. At any rate, she is hands-down my favorite seiyuu in Dragon Ball I think. There's some quality to her voice that I REALLY like, an energy that I don't think even Nozawa has, not the same type anyway. The weird thing is, from what little I've heard of her work on One Piece as Luffy which is pretty similar to her kid Kuririn voice, I'm not as fond of it there.

Somehow in the dub, I neveer noticed that Kuririn accidentally has a male model magazine in with the other magazines and gives it to Roshi too LOL.
