The release date of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods inches ever closer, and once again some new screenshots from the film have been released, courtesy of Kanzenshuu and it's forum.
Let's take a look at a few of them, shall we?
A reaction shot of Krillin and Piccolo, seemingly reacting to someone powering up. Krillin's look could mean a good thing or a bad one, but Piccolo's seems to suggest something bad, so chances are it's Bils or Whis. The animation in this shot is GORGEOUS, though one does have to wonder about the weird bridge in the background.
Master Roshi (sporting his new white shades) and Oolong reacting to something. Given that it's these two, and Oolong's heart eyes and wolf whistle pose...something naughty must be going on.
Whis, as he rushes toward someone or something, seemingly in attack mode. It kind of looks like this mysterious tree that's shown in a lot of the trailer and such can be seen behind him. Hmm...
Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Bils facing off. Based on the background and everything else we know about an event like this, this is likely right after Bils has stopped Goku's punch with just his hand, and right before he flicks Goku away effortlessly. You've gotta love the smug look on Bils' face.
And bringing up the tail end of new shots, is a similar shot to an earlier one of Gohan - only now he's in his Ultimate state rather than Super Saiyan. It seems they really are correcting the footage, or the other footage was only made for advertising purposes, or something.
These may be the last new shots we get with the movie just around the corner, but it's hard to say for sure. Keep your eyes peeled here and Kanzenshuu both if you want to see more!
