For those that haven't heard of it, Behind the Voice Actors is an amazing website and community dedicated to maintaining a huge database listing of various voice-over actors and the roles they've played. Anime, domestic animation, video games, commercials - even foreign actors are often listed, BTVA has it all. They even have various fan-related voice-over opportunities for people to check out.
With that description of the site aside, here's the news: Their first annual Anime Dub awards have just wrapped up, with lots of winners from various categories announced. Check it out for yourself here, or if you'd rather just read the list here, you can.
Two awards were given out for every category - the categories being General, Television/OVA, and Movies/Specials; and the awards being Staff's Choice (decided upon by the staff of the website), and 'People's Choice' (decided by the user votes). In addition to both of those, I'll also be listing my own votes just for contrast.
Without further ado, here are the awards.
